Resume

 

President of the Executive Committee of the Arab Thought Forum- ATF (1994-present), a leading Palestinian NGO working in development, supervising all programs and activities, including building and supervising a team of highly qualified staff growing from 4 to 20 members.

Served with the Cooperative Development Project- CDP (1989-1995), a private US sponsored Agency dedicated to the promotion of cooperative movement in developing countries, as a member of the management team and as Acting Director in the absence of CDP expatriates Director. Duties included: Direct all Projects’ technical activities in the West Bank, by making available CDP resources, to stimulate the growth of CDP clients.

Member in several developmental civil society institutions and have wrote extensively on democratic formation in Palestine, the future of Jerusalem, Israeli Settlements policy and the pace process. Editor in chief of Shu’un Tanmawiyeh (Development Affairs) a quarterly

Journal on Palestinian Development, issued by the Arab Thought Forum.

Holder of a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Mousel University, Iraq, 1975 and had completed a one year program in economic development through a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, 1986/7.
