{"id":43286,"date":"2025-10-13T09:06:30","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T12:06:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iri.edu.ar\/?p=43286"},"modified":"2025-12-19T12:55:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T15:55:04","slug":"maria-corina-machado-mujer-invencible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iri.edu.ar\/index.php\/2025\/10\/13\/maria-corina-machado-mujer-invencible\/","title":{"rendered":"Mar\u00eda Corina Machado, mujer invencible"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El s\u00e1bado 11 de octubre, Am\u00e9rica Latina ha recibido con asombro y esperanza la noticia de que el Comit\u00e9 del Premio Nobel de la Paz ha otorgado tan alto reconocimiento a una mujer latinoamericana: <strong>Mar\u00eda Corina Machado<\/strong>. Esta distinci\u00f3n no solo enaltece su lucha personal, sino que tambi\u00e9n visibiliza la profunda crisis pol\u00edtica, social y humanitaria que atraviesa Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo de m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas, <strong>Mar\u00eda Corina Machado<\/strong> ha enfrentado una represi\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica por parte del r\u00e9gimen chavista, primero bajo el liderazgo de <strong>Hugo Ch\u00e1vez<\/strong> y luego bajo el mando de <strong>Nicol\u00e1s Maduro<\/strong>. Ha sido golpeada, perseguida, inhabilitada, confinada y objeto de constantes amenazas, sin que ello haya mermado su compromiso con la democracia y los derechos humanos. A trav\u00e9s del trabajo de base y la construcci\u00f3n de consensos, <strong>Machado<\/strong> logr\u00f3 consolidar una mayor\u00eda social visible en los resultados de las elecciones presidenciales de julio de 2024, en las que la oposici\u00f3n venezolana, liderada por ella y por el candidato <strong>Edmundo Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, obtuvo m\u00e1s de siete millones de votos, a pesar de las condiciones adversas.<\/p>\n<p>El r\u00e9gimen chavista, un r\u00e9gimen autoritario y calificado por diversos gobiernos y organismos como narcoestado, ha sido responsable de violaciones masivas de derechos humanos, incluyendo asesinatos emblem\u00e1ticos como los de <strong>Robert Redman<\/strong> y <strong>Bassil Dacosta<\/strong>, as\u00ed como torturas documentadas en centros de detenci\u00f3n como El Helicoide o \u201cLa Tumba\u201d, del SEBIN. Estas acciones han sido sistem\u00e1ticas contra ciudadanos cuyo \u00fanico \u201cdelito\u201d ha sido exigir democracia y un pa\u00eds digno.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s del sufrimiento humano, Venezuela enfrenta uno de los mayores colapsos econ\u00f3micos del continente, producto del saqueo institucionalizado y la corrupci\u00f3n estructural del Estado. Esta crisis ha generado un \u00e9xodo masivo de millones de venezolanos, obligados a huir en busca de seguridad o mejores condiciones de vida.<\/p>\n<p>Resulta profundamente preocupante que a\u00fan existan sectores pol\u00edticos e intelectuales en Am\u00e9rica Latina que, por afinidades ideol\u00f3gicas, contin\u00faan justificando o silenciando los abusos del r\u00e9gimen venezolano. El reconocimiento internacional a <strong>Mar\u00eda Corina Machado<\/strong> deber\u00eda ser un llamado de atenci\u00f3n para quienes a\u00fan niegan una realidad que ha sido ampliamente documentada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mar\u00eda Corina<\/strong> se ha convertido en s\u00edmbolo de valent\u00eda y convicci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica. Su ejemplo debe inspirar no solo al pueblo venezolano, sino tambi\u00e9n a las nuevas generaciones de j\u00f3venes latinoamericanos que creen en la libertad, la justicia y el Estado de derecho. Hoy vive en la clandestinidad, se\u00f1alada como \u00abobjetivo militar\u00bb por figuras del r\u00e9gimen, como <strong>Diosdado Cabello<\/strong>. Sin embargo, su voz contin\u00faa resonando con fuerza dentro y fuera del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Que este Premio Nobel sea m\u00e1s que un reconocimiento: que se convierta en una advertencia moral contra la indiferencia y en un impulso renovado para la causa democr\u00e1tica en Venezuela y en toda Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em><strong>Jose Ponte
