Desde el Grupo de Estudios Espaciales y Nucleares (GEEyN) del IRI-UNLP, difundimos el lanzamiento del Proyecto MIRA (Monitoreo de Impactos y Reingresos Atmosf\u00e9ricos), una iniciativa de vanguardia desarrollada por el Centro Interdisciplinario de Estudios Espaciales (CIEE) de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, a cargo de su Director, Juan Cruz Gonz\u00e1lez Allonca<\/strong> (LLB, MEng).<\/p>\n MIRA se propone como una de las primeras plataformas regionales en Am\u00e9rica Latina dedicada de forma espec\u00edfica al monitoreo y an\u00e1lisis de los riesgos asociados a la basura espacial y los reingresos atmosf\u00e9ricos no controlados, en un contexto de complejidad creciente en la \u00f3rbita baja (LEO). El proyecto es el resultado de un trabajo interdisciplinario conjunto entre la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y la Facultad de Ciencias Jur\u00eddicas y Sociales de la UNLP, que articula perspectivas t\u00e9cnicas, regulatorias e institucionales en torno a la sostenibilidad del entorno orbital.<\/p>\n La plataforma integra datos orbitales de fuentes abiertas oficiales \u2014como DISCOS-ESA, Space-Track e IADC\u2014 para el modelado t\u00e9cnico de trayectorias, la visualizaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica de eventos e impactos y el desarrollo de capacidades de alerta temprana. Asimismo, el espacio cuenta con un \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n aplicada en derecho y pol\u00edtica espacial, para el an\u00e1lisis regulatorio de la problem\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n A trav\u00e9s de esta difusi\u00f3n, el GEEyN acompa\u00f1a al CIEE-UNLP, instituci\u00f3n con la que se han venido articulando diversos proyectos acad\u00e9micos, con el objetivo de promover la sostenibilidad espacial y
